We have been having a great time cooling off in the pool. For the next few weeks we have instructors coming in to teach us new activities and swimming techniques. What was your favourite activity that you have learnt from the instructors?

Buddy class time!

 Today Room 25 & 20 enjoyed a chalk drawing activity in the beautiful sunshine! The activity was to draw something that they could fit into the picture when it was finished & the results were very creative. Bare in mind it was very sunny, so when we took the pictures they needed to close their eyes. They worked in groups of four and it was awesome to see the teamwork!

Road Safety Week!

Road Safety Week is about encouraging families to think about how they can help everyone have safe and active journeys to and from school.  Parking away from the school and walking in helps keep the area outside the school safer for students.  Walking, biking and scootering is a great way to add exercise into your week!  Please remember to use the crossings, it may take an extra minute or two but it is another way we can help you to stay safe.

Fun in the sun!

 This morning the whole of Kauri team were very lucky to participate in all sorts of Kelly Sports activities. Room 25 had so much fun learning new games and new skills! Plus it was a beautiful sunny day to be outside.

 Room 25 have been letting their creative juices flow in a relaxing and fun way! They each choose an animal to draw and colour in, but the paper shape challenged them to elongate the shape of their animals.
