On Friday last week we went to a BLAKE NZ-VR session to learn more about the threats to the oceans around NZ. During the session, we all got to wear a Virtual Reality headset and experience what it would be like to dive in different parts of the Hauraki Gulf. Unfortunately many places around the Gulf have been over fished and are now very unhealthy.
Kia Ora and welcome to our class blog! This is a place where we share the awesome learning happening in Room 25. Look at our learning and leave a comment so that we can continue to improve. Ngā mihi :-)

Garden to Table - 5th Session
Today was our fifth session of Garden to Table - the rain was drizzling on and off, but we still enjoyed ourselves!
The kitchen team worked really well together to make Matariki inspired food and the gardening team were exploring the medicinal garden, where they tried some Kawakawa and they helped to make the compost better.
We are really enjoying our time at G2T and it's sad that it's our last session next week.
Thank you very much to Sarah, Richard and the parent/community helpers that make G2T possible.

Garden to Table - 3rd Session!
It was our third session of Garden to Table today!
The kitchen team worked resiliently at making delicious Middle Eastern food and the gardening team were busy planting peas and broad beans. The spices in the food really elevated the dishes that we got to enjoy together at the end of the session. We are very excited about what's coming up in the following weeks!
Thank you so much to Sarah, Richard and the parent/community helpers that make G2T possible.

Quality Blog posts!
Today in our Cybersmart session we learnt about what makes a quality blog post. We checked out a few blogs from other schools to see what they were doing well in their blog posts. Then we filled in the rubric that showed the type of bloggers from beginners to experts. Do you agree with everything he has put in the table? Would you add anything else, if so what would it be?
Here is Dekovyn's rubric:

What we share...
Today in our Cybersmart session we learnt about what personal information we should share online (public) and what we should NOT share (private).
Here are Poppy's ideas. Do you agree with everything she has put in the public and private columns?
